Our private en-suite room was clean-albeit basic-perfect for a night's rest after a long hike up Ben Lomond. What stood out most was the welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff. Dinner was reasonable, and the lasagne hit the spot after a long day exploring. Breakfast and packed lunches were also well-prepared, catering to my practical Irish sensibilities. The communal areas boast a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. On the flip side, keep track of your room key; it's vital for midnight bathroom trips, especially given the slight dust in the corners from beds against walls! With free Wi-Fi in public areas and cozy seating spaces, Rowardennan is ideal for those balancing budget and leisure. It's a solid choice for anyone seeking comfort and community in the heart of stunning Scottish wilderness.
